This picture wasn't taken today, but I thought it was appropriate.  I took it at one of the Marching Band competitions last year.  Heather Christensen died a hero one year ago today saving the lives of many of my friends.  You can read my posts on my other blog about it here and here. I had the blessed opportunity to work with her during my years as a flute player in the American Fork Marching Band.  She was the clarinet instructor as well as head of the woodwind sections.  I'd like to dedicate this post to her. She will be in my heart forever.  She is my hero.  Thank you Heather.  We love you. ♥
